PUBLIC STATEMENT
Caravela Colombia S.A.S. informs the community of Icononzo, Tolima, the coffee community, and the general public that our relationship with Mr. Camilo Andrés Cupitre Aldana and the company Pomerania Café Cultura S.A.S. was limited exclusively to commercial dealings, conducted in good faith, for the sourcing of specialty coffee. There is no corporate, representative, or employment relationship between Caravela Colombia S.A.S. and the aforementioned individual.
It is important to emphasize that all of our operations have been characterized by transparency and compliance with agreed commitments, always seeking the well-being of producers and the coffee community.
In light of recent events and the rumors regarding alleged fraud in the region, we clarify that Caravela Colombia S.A.S. has also been a victim of the unjustifiable actions of Mr. Cupitre, who has failed to fulfill commitments, improperly appropriated resources that do not belong to him, and disappeared without responding to our requests. Like other members of the coffee community, we have suffered the negative consequences affecting both our operations and the trust placed in us by our partners and clients.
Given this situation, we share the concern of the coffee community and the affected producers, and we reiterate our full willingness to cooperate with the authorities by providing any information required. Our company is committed to finding solutions and restoring trust within the sector, which is why we maintain a proactive approach in the investigation of these events and in supporting those who have been affected.
We invite anyone with relevant information that may help locate Mr. Cupitre to contact us, as Caravela Colombia S.A.S. has also been seriously harmed by these events. Our commitment is to transparency and the well-being of the coffee community, and for this reason we reiterate that we remain open to receiving information, testimonies, or any contribution that may help clarify the situation and protect the interests of all those involved, whether producers, associations, or companies within the sector.
